Pre-tutorial

If you have a grey data set that is in the form of a rectangular array of slices, you can now bring it into 3dviewnix demo program and generate a 3d surface. (This assumes that the surface can be generated using a simple threshold.)

STEPS:

o PORT your data: Use the menu option PORT-DATA->In->EasyHeader to generate a 3dviewnix IM0 file. See instructions for doing this in Tutorial 1: How to import data into 3dviewnix.

o Generate a 3D surface data: Follow directions as given in Recipe 1, Part A of Tutorial 2: How to create 3D objects.

o Manipulate the 3D data: Follow directions as given in Tutorial 3: How to manipulate 3D objects.
